With a winning reputation for quality and craftsmanship, Green Tree Doors has been supplying their unique doors and joinery components to the trade for years. The decision was made to branch out into the retail market, and to advertise their exclusive range of doors, bifolds, frames and components directly to customers.
Although Green Tree Doors had recently launched their website to facilitate this expansion, it was felt that the quality of the products was not being reflected on site. This was hurting sales. Green Tree Doors needed us to identify the issues and increase incoming website revenue.
We quickly realised that the site had a high bounce rate, in addition to a disappointing conversion rate of 0.28%. This was resulting in wasted PPC spend. Our team determined that we could increase incoming website revenue both by increasing the volume of orders and increasing the average order price.
The first step was to carry out a Full Digital Review for Green Tree Doors. This process saw us review the site’s analytics, complete a Website Usability Review, conduct a competitor analysis and deliver bespoke channel forecasting for the brand.
Once this initial stage was complete, our Team hosted a UX Workshop with the client. Through this workshop, we were able to understand the key challenges they faced as a business. It quickly became clear that the site was limited in scope, and already felt outdated.
From here, we identified the need for an entirely new website, and started the process of Wireframe Design. Web User-Testing was then performed on our designs, in order to help us understand real user needs and to receive feedback on the initial wireframes. Further iterations were then designed based on this insight. Finally, we found the perfect Visual Designer and Web Developer to work on the new Website, and Project-Managed the website’s build from start to finish.
When we began working with Green Tree Doors, we identified that they had a combination of challenges. We managed to pin-point quickly that a high bounce rate on mobile was a major contributor to their low conversion rate.

Green Tree Doors have continued to work with us since the new site went live. We are now responsible for managing their PPC Campaigns, Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) and delivering on-going Website Support.
