Wireframes are sketched drawings of what a website or app is going to look like before it’s actually built. You can plan out page layout, image sizes, shape of buttons and text positioning without even touching any code. There’s no HTML required!
Wireframes are often very quick to make and – most importantly – quick to make changes when something needs to be adapted.
They’re a little bit like a blueprint for a house. After the wireframe stage, you can give the blueprint to a developer or designer who can understand and build exactly what you require from your website.« Back to Glossary Index
