The Internal view was that the current website wasn’t as good as the competition. The reality was very different.
We tested the competitions websites and on the surface, the sites looked ‘polished’ but in the tests, users stumbled around the site and failed to understand the product. Funnily enough, although lacking the ‘polish’ of the competition, our clients site tested well with users.
They could navigate the site with ease and were able to find the right content. This insight meant our client could make some amends and then re-allocate budget so they could drive better quality traffic to the site.
